target location:

a place of interest for executing an enterprise and economic development opportunity. Those who target places of interest are members of the .network core user group, specifically they are the ones who make decisions about enterprise development and work with site selection projects, in the latter case, they gather location data and evaluate it in light site selection criteria. In both cases they typically create alliances in the process of gathering information. And, they build working relationships with resource and service providers, especially location data suppliers.

FYI: The Network maintains a collection of contact directories, including its own Global Registry of Contacts. The GRC lists locations and provides links to location data online.
